Tuesday after the Wrapping Weekend, we were already starting to receive confirmations that our packages had made their way to their destinations. That really reinforced our feeling of a job well done after a long fundraising season at Marché Jean-Talon and a frenetic two days of gift wrapping!
The Wrapping Weekend is just around the corner but we Elves have not been able raise the amount needed required for our mission to be fulfilled. Indeed, in order to distribute all the planned 4,000 gifts, $7,000 are still needed. We call on your generosity and hope that you will be able to make a donation if you have not already done so.
November 29 & 30, make sure to visit the kiosk meet Santa Claus! He will be there to supervise the Elves during their last weekend at Jean-Talon Market.
With the Wrapping Weekend set for December 6 & 7, we have just four weeks to raise the funds necessary to our mission.
Starting September 6th, weather permitting, every Saturday & Sunday until November 30th, the Elves’ kiosk will be in operation at Marché Jean-Talon, in front of the Marché des saveurs du Québec store.
