Return on the 2009 Wrapping Weekend
T’was two weeks before Christmas and hundreds of Elves gathered at Collège Jean-de-BrĂ©beuf for a massive gift wrapping effort : more than 3,400 gifts in two days.
Apart from an unexpected and unfortunate parking shortage which complicated things on the Saturday, the wrapping weekend went splendidly. In fact, the wrapping part was finished Sunday at 2 PM. The last two hours were spent packing up the equipement, loading the trucks and putting the halls back in their classroom configuration.
An immense thank you goes to the wonderful staff at Collège Jean-de-BrĂ©beuf who make it all so easy for us Elves to do our jobs. Other thanks go the hundreds of wrappers -individuals and groups-, to the kind folks who helped out on the Friday night to set up the space and unpack the equipment & material, and to those with strong arms who load and unload trucks with abandon. Without you all, the Little Elves’ mission would be impossible to accomplish.

It is December 12 & 13 when the Little Elves will wrap thousands of gifts in Montreal to be delivered to lone or isolated people affected by HIV-aids across Canada.
